Frequently Asked Questions
What is The Nest Coworking?
The Nest Coworking is a shared office space and is so much more than just a place to work. It’s a much better alternative to working out of the local coffee shop or working alone at home. As much as it is a workspace, it’s also a place to connect and collaborate with other people.
What are your hours?
Our regular business hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm at our Orange Park location and Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm at our Riverside location. If you are a full-time member, you will have 24/7 access and can come in anytime you like.
Can I come in for a tour?
Yes, definitely! We encourage you to come in for a tour and ask questions. We are happy to show you around during our regular business of Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm at our Orange Park location or Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm at our Riverside location. Click here to schedule a tour.
How do I pay?
Our coworking membership system automatically charges your credit card on the renewal date each month.
What’s your policy on cell phone use in the space?
This is a community space, so we ask that you please be considerate of your neighbors when taking phone calls. Occasional calls at your desk are fine and you can also go into an unoccupied conference room or lounge for that important call. If you know you will be on a long call ahead of time, you can book the conference room for uninterrupted time.
Is there a cleaning service?
We do have a service that comes in once a week. In between, we do ask you to help us keep things tidy by cleaning up after yourself, taking out your trash, and doing your own dishes. Please put all food trash into the kitchen trash can. This is a community space and we need to all pitch in to keep it nice and clean.
Who is the space for or not for?
We welcome freelancers, soloprenueurs and mobile workers of all kinds but coworking is not right for everyone. If you’re not sure if you will be a good fit, come in for a tour and utilize the one FREE Fly-In pass to try it out. We want you to help us build a diverse community of professionals in our shared office space.
What’s the policy on printing?
Membership includes use of our networked printer/scanner for light use. Please refer to your membership plan amenities limits.
How safe is my stuff?
The Nest Coworking is secured with an alarm system and cameras. Dedicated and Private Nest members have a locking file cabinet and lockers. Lockers are available for an additional $10/month on a first come/first served basis. Cable locking systems for your laptop/monitor are also a good idea. You can talk to your home/apartment insurance carrier to add additional coverage of your belongings at The Nest Coworking.
How noisy/quiet?
It’s not as loud as a busy coffee shop and it’s not as quiet as a library, but sound levels do tend to vary during the day. It’s not a bad idea to bring headphones if you need some extra concentration time (it’s also the universal sign of “don’t bother me right now”). Please be mindful of your coworkers when having conversations.
Can I use The Nest Coworking as my business address?
If you are a Dedicated Nest and Private Nest member, you are more than welcome to list the The Nest Coworking address as your business address. We can receive your letters and packages as long as you are here to pick them up. We have additional memberships that start at $50/mo for the Business Address option.
